We’ve used plenty of social media scheduling tools and have recently moved over from Meet Edgar to Buffer. We’re really impressed with this digital marketing platform so far. The ease of posting, the ability to share the account with clients for their feedback, post both videos and images to multiple social media accounts is really great!
Email marketing is a really effective tool to directly target specific customers & reach their inboxes at the right time & place. Being a creative agency in the West Midlands, we have plenty of clients with great GDPR compliant data that can be used. If not already available, we also source data for a range of B2B companies. We use MailChimp for creating our email marketing campaigns as it’s a great tool to use with little coding needed, the ease and speed of use is great. With analytical reporting which goes into great depth as well as the ability to segment specific audiences, this tool is excellent!
We’ve recently transitioned across from using multiple platforms to manage customer relationships & live chat services on our website to HubSpot. This CRM is great for having everything you need in one place. When live chat requests come in we can directly log the lead into our database and this is then passed onto the relevant person to follow it up. HubSpot also has tools to use for email marketing which we will soon be trialing out on our own email newsletters so keep an eye out for updates! Managing projects that come in & out of the studio is extremely important to ensure that deadlines are met and clients are happy. With ActiveCollab all tasks & projects that come into our workflow are logged here so we can keep on track and up to date with everything going on. The variety of things you can do with ActiveCollab is astonishing. We use this marketing platform to log & record chargeable time, assign and regulate tasks for specific people, invite clients to collaborate on projects, set deadlines and create gantt charts for projects.
Our team work together to think out of the box and come up with wild ideas. We use Slack as an internal messaging system to talk on “channels” about specific projects. We also have a whole team “channel” that ends up being just a laugh with memes, jokes and complete nonsense that are totally unrelated to the work that’s going on. Being able to communicate with the relevant person in the office or studio at the click of a button saves so much time when designers and developers update account managers & executives on projects and how they’re getting on.
