Court Collaboration is a property development company with a portfolio of successful developments across Birmingham, from refurbishment of old office blocks to new build tower blocks.
Court’s strategy collaborates knowledge and experience from a vast range of areas within the property sector. These abilities and unique insights into the market allow Court to provide the best possible solutions for each development project.
Court Collaboration came to us in search of a brand refresh to give a more modern and fresh brand identity. Their old brand was heavily reliant on CGI’s which lacked soul and didn’t tell the true Court story.
Although Court did not want to change their logo and recognisable colour scheme, they felt that the existing brand lacked personality. Court required a wider variety of colours within a palette that would compliment the existing red, giving them a wider choice of colour to use within marketing material. The existing brand font and other assets required a refresh to fit within the new stylish and contemporary brand that Court were looking to create.
We started by identifying a new, modern photographic style to overwrite the old style, which consisted of property CGIs and lacked the ‘lifestyle’ feel that Court wanted to communicate. We introduced a new photographic style that incorporated edgy, modern imagery of local architecture as well as personal and lifestyle focused photography to reinforce Court’s brand message; “Property isn’t about bricks and mortar, it’s about people”. The new style made the brand more warming, emotive and real.
Next, we addressed the colour palette for the brand. We created 4 new complementary colour palettes to work alongside the classic Court red. We introduced a deep purple, teal and muted brown 4-block colour palette, which added depth to the brand and gave it more of an edgy feel and created more of an eye-catching impact. We chose font styles for their new branding including. HK Kontrast Bold, Poppins Semi Bold and Gotham Light. By addressing the brand’s font choices, and selecting two contrasting styles we created a contemporary, art-deco type feel.
To introduce the new brand, Court required designs for a new website, business stationery, brochures and a suite of template print advertisements to ensure consistency across all marketing material.
We’re excited to hear that Court Collaboration have received great feedback on the new brand. We’re looking forward to seeing how the new and refreshed identity continues to impact the perception of the brand and their fantastic developments.
We are pleased to work with a variety of business who operate within a range of industries and sectors.
