ABB wanted to increase their Twitter following and engagement with the wider objective of increasing brand awareness and driving traffic to the company website.
In terms of content, ABB wanted to use their social media presence to share relevant and engaging brand and product information, as well as the features and benefits of their products, demonstrating how their conduit can be used through the use of client case studies.
Mooch implemented a daily content plan with a combination of text and visual assets, including videos, GIFs, cinemagraphs, animations and infographics. Content included product information, demonstrations, behind the scenes footage, product testing, statistics and facts.
Hashtags were used in the campaign to increase reach and to ensure that posts were discoverable. The hashtags used were constantly monitored to see how audiences were responding.
Alongside the new social media plan, a sponsored Twitter campaign was implemented, allowing ABB to display adverts to targeted Twitter users based on their interests and followers.
Within six months of the launch of the Twitter content plan and campaign, the ABB Twitter account had gained 2,500 followers. As a result of this, the channel has seen an average of 1,000 engagements per month. This is a significant increase of around 250% when compared to previous months before the campaign was launched.
As with all of our social media campaigns, we constantly measured and A/B tested posts and content to identify which copy type and visual asset performs best. We were then able to make changes to content, audience selection and strategy to ensure continuous improvement and engagement.
