‘Shaping the Future’ of Bournville Village Trust.

Bournville Village Trust are a charity and housing organisation founded by chocolate maker, George Cadbury in 1900.

Their main vision is to build and support flourishing communities where individuals decide to live. They do this by offering high-quality housing and estate management across Birmingham and Telford. In total they provide services to 8,000 homes and 25,000 people.

Bournville Village Trust wanted to hold a staff conference to shape the future of their organisation.

We created branding and a theme for the staff conference called ‘Shaping our Future’.

Creating an individual identity created a buzz for the event and encouraged staff members to get involved in making a difference to the future of the organisation. The brand enabled consistency throughout the different marketing material items items used before, during and after the conference event.

The team in the studio designed a range of print marketing materials to support the event and enable staff to easily express their thoughts and opinions for a range of planned activities on the day. These materials included posters, invites, conference itineraries, and display boards. They were displayed around the trust’s offices and at the event itself.

Our designers additionally produced a presentation to guide the direction of the conference. This concluded with a short film, displaying photos of the staff enjoying themselves. At the end of the video, the images came together and transitioned into the face of George Cadbury to represent the trust vision and values and the importance of the organisations founder and the impact that the history still has on the trust today.

After the staff conference, we received heart-warming feedback that the event smoothly and brought the staff together to celebrate the organisations future.

The aim of the staff conference was to develop a future plan for the trust whilst retaining the values of it’s proud brand history and heritage. By hosting an engaging and inclusive conference for staff from all departments within the trust, BVT were able to gather feedback, opinions and thoughts of the entire organisation.
