What was the challenge?

Distinct Distillers, a local distillery, approached us with an intriguing challenge - they wanted to create a rum that would stand out from the crowd in an industry dominated by masculinity. Their vision was to attract gin drinkers worldwide.

Their product was a range of fruity-flavored rums, sporting pastel colours that instantly caught the eye. Our task was to design packaging along with a launch campaign that would rival the biggest rum brands on supermarket shelves. Despite being a relatively new player in the market, they sought recognition and acknowledgment.

What did we do about it?

The branding and packaging were the focus of this project, but we didn't stop there. To take Distinct Distillers to new heights, we knew a strong digital presence was crucial. So, we also designed and developed an ecommerce website on Squarespace, allowing customers to buy their favorite rums directly online - convenience at their fingertips! 
 
As the launch date of Rum&Sum approached, we planned and executed a dynamic social media launch campaign across a range of channels. Following a successful first few months working on the social media marketing campaign, Distinct Distillers have created an online presence and community. In just the first 3 months of working on the project, we reached over 80,000 people across Facebook & Instagram. For Paid Social Media, our average cost per click is just £0.25! We got people talking about the product, generating buzz and excitement, and turning curious gin drinkers into rum fans.
