Our first round at First Round!

Last Friday, mooch visited the Big Smoke for First Round’s annual UK conference. For those who are curious, First Round is a wonderful one-day showcase of original presentations, showcasing initial design explorations for logo, identity and branding projects. The format is every creative’s dream; a perfect blend of inspiration and insight into how agencies work!

We had a great day and are back with lots of valuable information and knowledge. Our Creative Director, Luke Skinner, even gave us a mini-workshop at the mooch HQ to share his insight from the day with those of us that couldn’t attend!

We loved our time at First Round. It was a great opportunity for us to learn more about how to best present your ‘first’ ideas to clients, and we now have a new wealth of information that will be super helpful in our future projects!

Here is what Luke had to say:

“mooch is a big fan of the Under Consideration universe and we were super excited to be at First Round. Not only did we learn plenty of tips and tricks, but it was exciting and gratifying to learn mooch is already doing some of the things the world’s best creative agencies do. Above all, we left feeling super inspired by the work. All of the projects shown were fantastic but in particular we loved the projects from DesignStudio, Templo and VentureThree. It was an intense but great day and we’re looking forward to next year!”

One of the most important things that Luke took away from the conference is that you should always be prepared before you go into a client meeting. Make sure you know your stuff, have a solid portfolio and be confident in your abilities! This new found knowledge will help not only Luke, but all of us at mooch to put our best foot forward and start winning over more clients.

Thank you to First Round for such an informative and exciting conference!
